PRODUCTION
The subject of project is development of a new product and method for production of ultralight car composite rim, which will allow easy scalability of production. Thanks to development of a unique material manufacturing technology, both the weight and the final price of the product will be characterized by high competitiveness in relation to similar solutions on the composite rims market. Fibratech plans to develop textiles made of carbon fiber, glass and aramid. By selecting the appropriate material manufacturing technology, based on the results of numerical calculations, it will be possible to ensure the transmission of forces in the rim structure according to force tensors, which are a superposition of selected load cases, simulating strength tests of automobile rims, compliant with the standards.

designing of dedicated textiles for the needs of a composite car rim, characterized by reduced mass and low production cost,

modification of textiles and improvement of resins, which glass transition temperature should reach above 200 deg. C,

development of a production line allowing the serial production of composite vehicle rims,

product validation and production line operation, based on test results and target audience opinions based on the first test batches.

The total value of the project financed by National Center for Research and Development- Intelligent Development Operational Program for year 2014-2020 (POIR.01.02.00-00-0053/18) is 8 357 733,57 PLN (6 152 127,68 PLN support).
